STATION ROAD 1. 5253 (South Side) No 16 (Good Intent PH) TL 4825 1512:1/8 II GV 2. Early C19. A 2 storey and cellar yellow stock brick and slate roofed public house. Incorporates C18 timberframed and plastered rear wing with flush sash windows and red pantiled roof (rear slope only). Double pile plan with parallel slate roofs and chimney central to each ridge. Originally 2 windows wide. Nearly contemporary 1 window extension to W. 6/6 paned recessed sashes under cambered red brick arches. Louvred shutters. Round arched doorway to lounge with 4 panel door. Good panelled and pilastered wooden screen to E part of frontage, with dentilled cornice and glazing bars. An unusually well preserved small C19 public house.
