Memorial consisting of headstone, slab at ground level and flanking Roman-Doric columns; to Thomas Jolliffe of 1918; by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Dressed stone. Classical style. Central upright slab with pedimented capping; small panel with 2 carved figures in relief, below memorial inscription in very fine lettering, slab at ground level in the form of a medieval coffin lid with symbolic carving in relief. A tall and slender column to each side, slightly bellied.
