Details
DUNTON BASSETT BENNETTS HILL (South West Side) SP59 SW 3/15 Hillside House
GV II Farmhouse. Core is early C18, but successive alterations to the fabric in the C18 and early C19 have altered its external appearance, although probably not its plan form. The very patchy brickwork is probably largely C18, with C19 repairs, and is raised on a partial granite plinth with a high brick plinth beyond compensating for its sloping site. Welsh slate roof. Two storeyed, three unit plan, with one bay to right of doorway, and three windows to its left. All openings on each floor have cambered brick heads. Coped gables. Stack on right hand gable and between the two left hand units.
