Cottage, divided at time of listing. Mid-C17. Timber framed with painted brick nogging; plain tile roof. Framing: small square panels, 3 from sole plate to wall plate. 3 framed bays. One storey and attic. 4 gabled eaves dormers with 2-light wooden casements and brick stack behind ridge off-centre to right. 3-window front; C19 three-light wooden casements. Late C20 nail-studded boarded door to left with C19 bracketed gabled porch. Collar and tie-beam truss in left-hand gable end with queen struts and V-struts. Rear with 4 gabled dormers and catslide roof over partly restored C19 rubblestone outshut. Interior: chamfered beams and joists with ogee stops in right-hand ground-floor room.
