GV II

House. C16 extended in early C19 and C20. Timber framed core, pebble dash cladding to centre, red brick cladding on rendered plinth to end pavilions; Horsham slab
roof to centre, taller hipped plain tiled roofs to ends with two oversailing gables
to centre. End stacks and ridge stack with dentilled band to left of centre at
right angles to street. 2 storeys and attics in oversailing gables to centre.
Diamond pane C19 casement windows under cambered heads on first floor ends, 2
on left, 1 on right, 2 cambered head casement windows to centre; angle bay and
square bay windows to right of centre on ground floor under continuous pent roof.
Arched planked door to left in pent roof roofed brick porch. Right hand return
front: C20 timber frame porch with herringbone brick infill pent roof. Ribbed
and studded door under gabled porch hood on wooden braces. Gabled wing to rear
jettied on first floor.
