Former village school, now village hall. Built c1840. Coursed squared and dressed limestone. Slate roof with stamps of ashlar stacks. Rectangular plan. C20 extension at rear not of special interest. Diagonal buttresses at corners of main body and to central projecting gabled porch. Single storey. Symmetrical facade with projecting central gable. Double doors to porch within pointed-arched surround with stopped hood. Rectangular plaque with raised margin (without a legible inscription). Rectangular plaque above with Sherborne Arms above. Pointed bell hanging towards apex of gable. Four-light stone-mullioned casements with pointed heads to each light and transoms, both windows with stopped hoods. Stumps and stacks (formerly with castellated tops) at gable ends.
