Farmhouse and former stables, now part of house. C17 with early C19 and C20 alterations, and early C19 with C20 alterations. Timber-frame with rendered brick front and ashlar, slate and plain tile roof, brick end stacks. Roughly L-plan, house to one limb, former stables to other with brick link in corner. Farmhouse: 2 storeys; 3 windows, 3:2:3 light C20 metal casements; central entrance, pedimented doorcase with Doric pilasters, semi-circular fanlight with radial glazing; door: 6 raised and fielded panels. Framing visible to rear wall, square framing with various gables. Interior: roof discloses develop- ment, square plan house gabled in four directions, wing added to left in framing, gabled to all three elevations, remodelled with rear facade in early C19. Stables: now converted to domestic accommodation, had segmental headed openings dressed in brick, linked to house by C18 single storey brick outhouse.
