(Formerly listed as B 4197 (west side) Henhouse about 70 metres north west of Tabwell)

Cottage, in use as a henhouse at time of first listing in 1984. C17 with C19 alterations. Timber-frame with brick and wattle-and-daub infill, on ashlar plinth, plain tile roof, ashlar and brick end stack to right with detached brick shaft. One storey, gable lit attic, two C19 casements in two framed bays, entrance right of centre.
Framing: three square panels high to wall-plate, straight tension braces in gable end wall; roof trusses: two queen struts to collar, ridge, trenched purlins.
