FAWLEY STANSWOOD ROAD SZ 49 NE 16/2 Stone Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. On site of monastic grange, C16, altered C18, C19 and C20. Reused rubble stone, brick additions, slate roof. 2 storey 3 bay and stack bay with hip-bays at either end. Wings to rear. Front has to LH of centre stack bay with gabled ½-glazed porch in front, having ½-glazed door with side lights. Either side C19 hip-roofed canted bay windows with large 4-pane sash to front, that to RH is set between bays. In hip-bays 3-light casements. On 1st floor 3-light casements in every bay except stack bay. 2-light gabled dormer just RH of centre and over LH bays. Roof hipped with stacks at top of each hip and central stack set in front of ridge.
