L-shaped building now 2 cottages. C15 house with C16 house added at right angles, C18 refacing and 1983 addition to older part. Timber-frame with brick encasing to C15 part and infill to C16 part, and C20 brick addition, roof thatched. Along main road 3 bay C15 cruck building set at right angles to it, running along lane C16 3 bay and smoke bay 2 storey building, and at other end of C14 building C20 bay added. Roadside C14 range is single storey and 4 bay with C20 bay to left, and low-swept roof. C2O 2-light casements in 3 old bays and 2 inverted dormers with C19 cast-iron lozenge pane casements, and rounded corner to left bay. Roof hipped with stack above left and right bays. C16 building has ground floor rebuilt in brick. C20 door in smoke bay, to right of centre. In right bay on both floors C19 cast-iron lozenge pane casements, elsewhere C20 steel windows. Left end, adjacent to C15 building, jettied. Roof hipped with large stack in smoke bay and small stack to left. Inside cruck blades exposed.
