House. Early C18 extended and altered C19 and C20, home in C19 of Charlotte Yonge, authoress. Colourwashed brick, old plain tile roof and lead roof. 2 storey and attic, 3 bay early C18 house with wing added to rear at right to form garden front and wing added to side of that wing to form 'U'-shaped house. In C2O courtyard filled in with flat lead roof, and extensions built, set back, to left of original house. Road front has 3 early C20 stained glass 2-light casements. 3 sashes on 1st floor and panelled parapet above. External end stacks. 3 bay 2 storey garden front has to left gable end of original house. In centre top-glazed door under pent-roofed porch. Each side 2-light casement in segmental head. On 1st floor to left, 5-light casement and in centre small sash. Right bay blank. Roof half-hipped to right with gable of rear wing cutting through ridge to left of it.
