II
House. C18, 1914, with extensions c1960. Brick and tile. A Georgian farmhouse with a small barn at the west side, improved 1914, and with later additions; front (south) of 2 storeys, 3.2.3 windows, with extensions at each side of 2 storeys and attic, 2 (west) and 1 (east) windows. Plain roof, brick dentil eaves, the side extensions being lower mansard roofs with ½-hips. Walls of Flemish bond, one wide rubbed flat arch, the sides having boarding above brick- work. Casements, old leaded window in the west (extension) gable : at each side of the main part are 2 storeyed angular bays (1914), each of 3 windows, the extensions have flat-roofed dormers. The rear shows as an L-shaped block, the old centre being higher, with a catslide roof; irregular fenestration, and a C20 brick porch, with a classical doorcase.
