4/59 Stable/Granary 20 metres East of Mill Court
GV II
Stable range, widened along most of the rear for use as a granary/oast house. C18, with late C19 extension. Malmstone walls and slate roof. The front (west) is a long 2-storeyed range with a symmetrical elevation, the upper part having a central oval arched loft doorway, with 2 widely-space coupled (and arched) windows at each side, the ground-floor an arcade of 11 oval arches with keys, impost blocks, chamfered stone pillars on bases : 2 arches remain open as doorways but the others are filled with stone walling (with 3 windows and a doorway): the passage behind the arcade has an inner wall. The structure has been widened at the rear (with a higher around level) witha flatter roof slope from the old ridge, with a series of roof vents, and boarded walling.
