House, now divided into 2. Early C19. Roughcast, stone slate roof. Main range (Wensley Hall): 2 storeys, 3 bays. Ashlar plinth. Central 9-panel door below overlight in Tuscan portico with blocking course above. On first floor above, sash window with glazing bars in ashlar surround. Outer bays of 2-storey segmental bows with tripartite sash windows with glazing bars in ashlar surrounds, each with hipped roof. Continuous 1st-floor band. Hipped roof. End stacks and ridge stacks between bays 1 and 2, 2 and 3. Lower range to right (Corner House): 2 lower storeys, 5 bays. Central part-glazed door in pedimented doorcase. Windows in slightly-chamfered stone surrounds. On ground floor 12-pane unequally-hung sashes, on first floor sashes with glazing bars. Shaped kneeler and ashlar coping to right. Stacks between bays 2 and 3, 4 and 5. Further 2 bays to right, with chamfered stone surrounds to sash windows with glazing bars. Shaped kneeler and ashlar coping to right.
