HANBURY CP - SO 96 SE 4/57 Farmer memorial about 5 yards south-east of the Chancel of the Church of St Mary the Virgin
GV II Chest tomb. Early C19. Sandstone ashlar. Moulded base and flat capping, panelled frieze, shaped inscription panels with moulded borders. Inscriptions mainly illegible. One of several chest tombs including the Thomas memorial (qv) and the Emiss memorial (qv) occupying prominent positions within the hilltop churchyard.
