GV II

House of two builds, early C18 with alterations, mostly of later C18. Coursed stone. Pantiled roof with stone copings, rendered gable end chimneys. Three storeys, two and four windows, modern pivoted lights with glazing bars. Keystoned lintel over ground floor left window. Modern door. At right the top storey is jettied out on stout beams with curved ends, slightly askew, both front and back. Interior shows an early C18 staircase, with cut balusters and closed string, and an early C19 stair. Some C18 panelling and late C18 beams throughout. Stout roof of fairly low pitch with big principals, two levels of purlins, probably originally stone flagged.
