House. Mid C16 with later alterations. Coursed rubble and stone slate
roof. 3-cell direct entry with additional porch to front and outshut to
rear. 2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Plinth. Porch with side door.
All windows plate-glass sashes in chamfered stone surrounds except 3-light
fixed window to right end on ground floor. Gable coping, end and ridge
stacks. Interior: basket-arched doorway with moulded arch contains original
battened oak door. Staircase encased in original oak panelling with fluted
cornice and butterfly hinges to door. Massive stop-chamfered ceiling beams.
