LUGWARDINE CP HAGLEY HILL SO 54 SE 2/107 The New Inn GV II Inn. Mid- to late C19. Brick with polychrome brickwork, tiled and ashlar dressings, slate roofs. Two rooms deep with central entrance, end stacks. Gothic style. South front, gabled projection to left of central turret with door and recessed gable to right with forward pro- jecting ground floor, bands of decorative tiling, polychrome pointed arched heads to windows with foliated capitals to responds; left gable end, window of three lights, central light taller than flanking lights, turret in angle with shaped slate roof, and elaborate interlacing tracery to oriel over doorway, three lights to right gable end with projecting bay to ground floor with similar lights. Decorative fantasy animals and birds to angles of gables.
