GV Garden walls and gate piers to east of Wolverton House
II
Early C19. A tall brick wall extends southwards from the house, is pierced by a double-gated entrance with piers topped by ball-finials, then turns and curves to another gateway to the kitchen garden, having a cambered arch between piers, to meet the north-west corner of the stable block. It then passes eastward of the south- east corner of the stable block, again curves and finishes as a north-south stretch, ending with a doorway. The wall is in red brickwork, of Flemish and English bond, with buttresses at intervals.
