Voyce House
(formerly listed as Voice Farmhouse)

Farmhouse, now house. Probably C17, altered early C18 and mid C20. Timber framed, brick infill, refaced with brick, brick external chimney to left side elevation and to rear, paired brick stacks with oversailing cap courses. Hall and crosswing type plan, each of two bays, hall range on east/west axis with cross-wing at east gable end.
Two storeys and attic; cogged string course between storeys and also cogged eaves course. Irregular fenestration; C20 casements throughout. Front elevation to north: hall range has three ground and two first floor windows and central timber door. Cross-wing gable end has a ground and first floor window. Attic light in west gable end.
Interior not inspected.
A smaller, two storey wing adjoins the west gable end of two framed bays; irregularly sized rectangular panels, two from sill to wall-plate with long straight braces in lower corners and gable end queen strut truss. North elevation has two ground and two first floor casements and a multi-paned door to left. C20 lean-to extension to rear of hall range.
