The White House

II
House. Early C19. Roughcast brick and hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and brick stacks at right side and rear.

Three storeys. Three bays. Windows all have cambered heads. Outer bays of ground and first floors have 16-pane sashes, and of second floor have eight-pane sashes. Central bay has a semi-circular arched head and a slightly recessed doorway flanked by engaged columns with a six-panelled door (four panels are glazed) and a barred segmental fanlight. The entrance is approached by a flight of four sandstone steps. Main entrance at right side and has a hipped lead canopy with swept eaves on timber posts, and a partly glazed door with a cambered head within. There is a two-bay wing to the rear right of two levels with a dentilled eaves cornice.
