GV II
House. C17 and C18 with mid-C19 and later extensions and alterations. Painted brick, stone and Welsh slate roofs with brick stacks. Rectangular plan of four structural bays aligned east/west with C19 wing at west end and former coach house at east end. Cellar, two storeys and attic. North elevation has main C18 part of four windows, late C18 or early C19 casements of two lights in segmental heads. Plat band. Ground floor has two similar windows but of three lights and a small 2-pane mid-C20 window to right of central 6-panelled door with semi-circular hood. Cogged brick eaves cornice, two casements each of three lights to first floor and two wide segmetal headed entries, the right one blocked by small window and ledged door, the left with two-leaved doors. To right-hand side is gable front of C19 extension. Interior has ceiling of principal ground floor room divided into panels by chamfered beams. Fireplace has moulded surrounds, possibly early C18. Entrance hall has early C17 panelling re-used on flank of early C19 staircase. First floor has wide oak floorboards. Roof of main range has trusses with V-struts from collars to principals.
