House. Partially early C.16, partly later C.16 or early C.17. Main range with cross wing. Main range has the earlier core, and is rendered with plain tiled roof, but cruck framed internally. It contains renewed casement windows on each floor. Big axial stack with stone base, and another on right hand gable. Cross wing is late C.16 or early C.17. Flamboyant timber framing with brick nogging. Post and truss construction with angle posts on padstones and a middle rail: Coved and jettied gable above close-studded first floor and cambered tie beam with painted Tudor Roses in the spandrels. The gable itself comprises decorative panels, with lozenges, etc. Doorway to left and early C.20 canted bay with leaded lights. Single renewed casement window above. Side elevation of 2 wide arch-braced bays with close studding, above ground floor of ironstone rubble with one original caveto moulded mullioned window.
