II

Farmhouse, built in 3 main stages: main mid C16 range of about 5 bays and 2 storeys. A lower service range probably of earlier origin, set forward to left. A late C16 or early C17 block set forward to right and obscuring part of the main elevation. Timber-framed and plastered. Plaintiled roof. The service range has a pantiled roof. Two axial chimneys of C17 red brick, both with C20 repairs. Several C18 cross-casements with C20 leaded glazing; C19 and C20 small-pane casements. C20 plank entrance door. Main range: a long-wall jetty at 1st floor, partly with exposed close-studding, moulded bressumer and a blocked chamber window with moulded mullions. Interior not examined: there are believed to be good moulded 1st floor members and a 4-centred arched internal doorway with old door.
