2. Tombs are mostly good stone built table tombs. The best are as follows: Opposite entrance from Lopes Arms are 2 table tombs and a shaped lump tomb (early C19). The table tombs are C18, one to Joel Ford and the Pile family with corner balusters, the other with skull and cross bones in end panels. Opposite Church Croft are 2 shaped lump tombs, one with head stones to Mr Goodman date 1839. Opposite the North transept gable end is the Burgess tomb; early-mid C19 table tomb with railings. To North-East of Chancel are a group of 4 table tombs, 2 are C18 (one to Barnes family) and 2 early C19 (Atkins and Taylor families).
