GISLINGHAM COLDHAM LANE (SOUTH SIDE) TM 0771 6/30 Coldham House - GV II
House, formerly for the Methodist Minister. Mid C19. Rat trap bonded red brick, colourwashed. Slate roof. 3 bays. 2 storeys. Ground floor: central entrance with a recessed C20 6-panelled door, original doorcase with fielded panels, cornice; flanking 16 pane architraved flush frame sashes with cambered brick heads, offset plinth. First floor central 3:6 pane small architraved sash with a cambered brick head; flanking 16 pane sashes with heads at boxed eaves. Right end ground floor canted bay window with a central 6-light moulded mullion and transom window, pilasters to outer margin glazed windows with stained glass, hipped head; above a 16 pane sash, Flemish bond at gable head, ornamental bargeboards. To rear 2 axial red brick stacks with white brick dressings, continuous lean-to outshut. Interior not inspected.
