Details

DILTON MARSH HIGH STREET ST 84 NE (south side) 8/115 No 22 (The Old Manse) 11.9.68 GV II Semi-detached house. Late C18. English bond brick, mansard tiled roof with fishscale tiles on lower pitch, gable end brick stacks. Two-storey, and attic, 3-window. Central 8-panelled door with segmental-head and keystone, pair of 12-pane sashes either side with keystones to segmental heads. Three-brick painted plat band to first floor; central sash with pair of sashes either side. Stone plat band to brick blocking course, lower pitch of mansard roof has three 12-pane sashes. Right return has 2-light casement to ground floor and single light to attic. Single-storey outbuildings attached to rear. Interior not accessible at time of survey (June 1986), but said to contain original joinery, fireplaces and staircase.
