Details
DILTON MARSH HISOMLEY ST 84 NE (north side) 8/117 Hisomley Farmhouse with barn and railings II Farmhouse. Late C18. Random rubble stone, with brick dressings, double Roman tiled roof with gable end brick stacks. Two-storey, 2-window. Door with 6 fielded panels and flat hood on cast-iron brackets to left of centre, 20-pane sash either side, with blocked window and basement window to right. First floor has two 20-pane sashes and blocked window. Right return has single-storey extension with hipped roof. Attached to left is rubble stone barn with loopholes and C20 extensions to front and rear. Attached to front are stone dwarf walls with cast-iron spear head railings with dog bars and single gate.
