Details

EAST COULSTON EAST COULSTON VILLAGE ST 95 SE (south side) 6/135 Spicers Close GV II Farmhouse. Mid C18, extension to south dated 1799, probably for Willam Long. English bond brick, half-hipped tiled roof with slate to rear pitch and brick stacks. Two-storey, 5-window. C20 porch and door to left of centre with two 2-light casements; one in blocked doorway, and 12-pane sash to right, 2-light casement to left of porch. First floor has 3 brick dentilled plat band, two 2- light casements to left part, three 6-pane sashes to right part. Right return has sash to ground floor, 6-pane sash to first floor and 2-light casement and datestone to attic. Rear has lateral stack to left, planked door and 2-light casements to right, rear roof pitch is Welsh slated. Attached to left is brick stable and tack-room dated 1725, on west gable end attached late C19 lean-to porch. Interior has chamfered beams and blocked fireplace.
