Details
NEWTIMBER SADDLESCOMBE ROAD 1. 5405 Saddlescombe Farmhouse TQ 21 SE 22/32 II
2. Large L-shaped house. South wing is a C16 or earlier timber-framed building with a half-hipped gable, now tile-hung. The main east-west wing has an C18 front of red brick on south side. Tiled roof. Glazing bars intact. C19 bay on ground floor. Two storeys and attic. Four windows. Three dormers with C19 gables. The north front has been refaced with Roman cement. Six windows. Gabled porch containing doorway with segmental fanlight. Further gable and gabled dormer to the east of porch.
