Details
NETTLEBED THE OLD KILN SU7086 13/112 Brick Kiln 30/04/73 GV II*
Brick kiln. Probably late C17 with later alterations. Brick conical structure approx 10 metres high and 7 metres diameter at base. Brick arched doorways to north and west sides. Dentil cornice to top. Said to be the only estate kiln remaining of its period and of local design. Nettlebed was a brick producing area until early C20.
