GV II

House, now shop and house. Mid/late C16, remodelled in mid C19 and C20. Originally timber-framed; tie beam and C18 studs in left gable, and rectangular timber framing with brick infill to rear. Front of mid C19 Flemish bond brick with flared headers. Half-hipped old-tile roof; shortened rear lateral brick stack. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. 4-window range. Segmental arch over C20 door adjoining C20 window to right; C20 door and flanking shop windows to left. Timber lintels over late C19 first-floor sashes. Rear right C17 wing of storey, 2-window range: rectangular timber framing with brick infill, gabled old tile roof and C20 brick stack. Interior: C17 cellar with chamfered and stopped beam. Quartered chamfered beans to right. 3-bay queen-post roof with curved braces and windbraces.
