SHIPLAKE SU77NW 9/156 Crowsley Park, grotto approx 320 metres south-east of house - II Grotto. Early C18. Flint. Single cell plan. Central recessed doorway with pointed arch in flint. Flat brick band above "Ruined" top with central flat recess flanked by shallow niches with round heads. Interior (built into the hill). Single room with arched recesses in side walls and niche to end wall. Rib-vault on corbel heads.
