Farmhouse. Early C17 and C18. Roughcast timber framing and limestone rubble with squared quoins; thatched and old plain-tile roofs with brick stacks. 2-unit lobby-entry plan, now L-plan. 2 storeys. 2-window front to early timber-framed range has a central door, flanking 3-light casements at ground and first floors, and very small casements over the door and to extreme right. Hipped thatched roof is swept up over first-floor windows and there is a central stack with side strips. C18 rubble cross range, to left, projects to front and has an old plank door beside a 3-light casement with a 2-light half dormer. Roof has a gable stack and is half hipped at the rear. Rear of main range retains an early C17 four-light ovolo-moulded wood-mullion window set forward of the wall face over a moulded sill. Interior: Remains of an open fireplace with cambered bressumer; heavy chamfered beams; old plank doors with wooden latches.
