WARBOROUGH WHARF ROAD SU5992 (East side) 11/195 Shillingford 09/11/76 No.15 (Pear Tree Cottage) (Formerly listed as No.15, and farmbuildings and granary at the rear of Nos.15 and 17 (The Nook))
GV II Small house. Early/mid C18, extended C20. Banded clunch rubble and flint with brick dressings; old plain-tile roof with brick stacks. 2-unit plan. One storey plus attics. Front has central doorway, now a window, and a sash to left, both with segmental arches; large C20 bay window, to right. Ridge stack in line with doorway; further stack to right gable. Gables have C19 ornamental barge boards as does the roof dormer at the rear. Extensive rear range incorporates parts of former farm buildings. Interior not inspected. Probably originally lobby entry. Included for group value.
