Shown on 0S map as Chestnut Cottage and Homeside. Two houses. Mid C17 with early C20 additions to left and right ends. Roughcast, probably on timber framing, to left; render, probably on timber framing, to right with portion of timber framing to right of centre; old plain-tile roof with areas of late C20 plain tiles; brick ridge stack to centre with 2 diagonally set flues, end stacks. 2-storey, 5-window range. 4-panel part-glazed door with open lean-to porch to right of centre. 4-panel part-glazed door, with gabled porch having double part-glazed door, to left of centre. Irregular fenestration of mostly C19 casements. Interior: mid C17 winder staircase to rear centre. Timber framing of rear wall visible to interior right. Mid C17 door at base of staircase. Open fireplace to ground floor right with spine beam on shaped bracket.
