Two cottages. Early/mid C19. Squared and coursed chalk, brown limestone ashlar
dressings; old red tile roof; brick and rendered stack. Tudor Domestic style. 2
storeys; 2-window range. Label moulds over 2-light stone-mullioned
cavetto-moulded windows with arched head. Windows set in projecting square bays
carried above eaves level and gabled with kneelers and moulded coping stones.
Gabled roof with moulded coping stones; ridge stack of 4 circular flues rendered
with diaper pattern set on square brick base. Attached to each gable wall are
one-storey, one-bay blocks in similar materials and style with plank doors. The
elevation makes effective use of different coloured materials.
