The following building shall be added:-
STRADBROKE off NEW STREET TM 27 SW
8/167 Barn about 30m West North West of Doggetts
GV II Barn. Probably early C18, reusing earlier materials. Weatherboarded timber frame on tall English bond brick plinth. Pantile roof with gabled ends. Rectangular plan 4-bay bars with cart entrance in third bay from left. Later lean-to on right (east)end. The south front has large plank double doors to right of centre. The opposing doorway at rear has been blocked and a small hatch inserted. Interior: full- height wall studding without rails and with straight tension braces. Jowled posts; braces to tie-beams removed and replaced with curved hanging knees. Roof structure replaced in C19.
