Farmhouse, now house. Late C17; front altered c.1800. Limestone rubble with brick dressings; plain-tile roof with brick stacks on stone bases. Central staircase plan plus single-unit range. Main range has symmetrical 3-window front with 4-pane (formerly 16-pane) sashes, 3-course brick quoins to openings, segmental arches on ground floor, and a moulded timber eaves-cove of c.1700. C20 stone porch. Projecting stone breast with diagonal stacks on left gable wall and clustered stacks to right. Low irregular range to right with 3- light casement under brick segmental arch and a horizontal sash above, both with brick quoins. Rear of main range has remains of leaded cross-windows, a central stair window of 3 small lights in an ovolo-mou ded wood frame, and 2 roof dormers. Interior: Main range has dog-leg stair rising to attics with heavy turned balusters, some elaborately moulded beams, moulded wood coves to 2 bedrooms and 2 heavy roof-trusses. Massive stack between ranges flanked by secondary winder stair rising from single unit may be earlier.
