Farmhouse. Mid C18 refronting to older (Cl7) house. English bond brick front:
rest of coursed limestone rubble. Gabled concrete tile roof; brick symmetrical
end stacks. T-plan with rear right wing. 2 storeys and attic; symmetrical
7-window range. Flat brick arch over late C19 half-glazed door with overlight:
carved consoles to flat hood above. Segmental and first-floor flat arches over
6-pane sashes and blind window above door: 3 roof dormers with 2 leaded
casements. Rear: outshut and stair-turret adjoin three 2-storey rear ranges of
similar materials: late C17 leaded cross-window above 2-light leaded casement on
right side: early C18 eight-pane sashes and 2-light leaded casements on left
side wall. Interior: winder stairs to rear of large central hall. Chamfered and
cased beams in rear wing. Butt-purlin roofs. Interior mostly late C19/C20,
