Smithfield Cottages
GV II
Three cottages, C17, rubble stone with stone-tiled roofs, moulded
coping to gables with finials and central ridge stack to main
range. Two dormer gables and 2-window range of 3-light ovolo-
moulded windows with hoodmoulds. South end wall has blank attic 2-
light, first floor 3-light and ground floor 4-light all with
hoodmoulds, 2 lights of ground floor window removed for door.
Rear return has dormer gable with similar 2-light window. Rear
wing has ridge stack and east side door in moulded surround with 3-
light mullion window to right. West side of wing has 2 dormer
gables with 3-light and 2-light windows, door in moulded surround
with hoodmould and 3-light to left. All windows with hoodmoulds.
North end of main range has 2-light window with hoodmould to ground
and first floors.
