House, latterly 2 dwellings. C16 origins probable, extended mid to late C17. Part raised and altered C19, altered C20. Timber frame, plastered. Pantiled roofs. A low 2 cell range, raised in C19 to 2 storeys with a C17 parlour bay added in series. 2 storeys and attic. A C20 gabled porch to right of early range, C19 and C20 glazing bar casements, some Gothic lights. C19 internal end stack to right. Lean-to outshut from parlour bay blocking original lobby entrance, axial ridge stack towards earlier bays. Left gable end has 2 and 3- light C20 Gothic glazing bar casements with C19 timber hoodmoulds. Exposed double ovolo moulded tie beam, pentice board to attic, exposed plates, steeply pitched roof with wavy bargeboards. To rear similar casements, an entrance to centre of early range with part raised 6 panelled door. Interior: unusual king post roof in parlour bay, 4 convergent principal rafters meet at ridge with plain king post on diagonally crossed collars, elsewhere framing largely concealed.
