Farmhouse, subdivided into two dwellings. Circa 1550. One storey and attics. Three-cell cross-passage entrance plan. Timber-framed and plastered. Pantiled roof, formerly thatched. An axial C17 chimney, the shaft rebuilt in C19 gault brick; a second C19 chimney to left. Three mid C19 dormers with leaded segmental heads and sash windows. C19 and C20 small-pane sashes. Mid C19 six-panelled doors at cross-entry position. Heavy unmoulded framing exposed internally: unchamfered floor joists. At the right-hand end a pair of basecrucks with tension-bracing and a blocked mullioned window in the gable; the base crucks formerly supported a half-hip. In the hall is a lintelled open fireplace.
