Farmhouse. Front range 1827, rear range with older core but considerably altered C19 and C20. Facade of pale yellow brick, remainder of house with mid C20 textured render. Hipped slated roof to front range, modern concrete pantiles to rear. 2 storeys with attic to rear. Symmetrical 3-bay facade, with flanking pilasters strips; inset sash windows with glazing bars under flat brick arches. original doorcase with ehgaged Doric columns, entablature and modillion cornice; inset 6-panel door, semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars, panelled reveals. Wooden eaves cornice with paired modillions. Attached to the earlier range is an addition of 1977, on which has been placed 2 datastones originally on the rear gable end: one is inscribed '1577 TEB', the other 'Rebuilt 1827 W+L' (for William Lark, the owner).
