BLYFORD SOUTHWOLD ROAD TM 47 NW 6/6 Service range immediately - south west of Walnut Tree Farmhouse

GV II

Detached service range to Walnut Tree Farmhouse. Probably C17, but with much later rebuilding. Originally timber framed, now largely rebuilt in red brick, the only part still plastered being the south gable. Pantiled roof. One and a half storeys. 2 cell form. To the east, facing the house, are 2 windows (one slatted) and a boarded door. Gable end stack to north, possibly a later addition. The original roof, much of which seems to survive, has clasped purlins and arched wind-bracing. The stairs are probably also original.
