Former farmhouse, now subdivided into two cottages. Probably C16 or earlier. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and plastered. Thatched roof, hipped at left-hand end. An axial C17/C18 chimney of red brick, and an external C19 gable chimney to right. 3-light early or mid C19 casements (those at ground storey have transomes); leaded lights. Two C19 boarded entrance doors, both having trelliswork open porches. Probably a 3-cell house whose cross-entry is now indicated by the left-hand entrance. A cell was added later, perhaps at left hand end. Attached dairy-bakehouse range set forward to right of C17 or earlier. 1 storey and attics. Timber-framed and plastered. Thatched roof with deep cusped C19 bargeboards; internal C19 end chimneys of red brick. C19 casements with leaded lights. Interior not examined. Site has partial medieval moat.
