Details
SU 07 SE WINTERBOURNE BASSETT - 5/156 Rabson Manor II House. Early C17 and later. Rendered sarsen, slate roof. Two storeys and attics, 3 bays with forward wing to right, and narrower rear wing, further extended in C19, and left end also extended in brick in C19. Entrance in porch in re-entrant angle. Late C20 plastic coated metal windows. Left gable stack, and stack to gable of early rear wing, with five tall brick shafts. Open lean-to to rear adjoining farmyard. Interior stated to have part of late C17 stair, not seen. Rabson was an endowment of Amesbury Abbey.
