HALL STREET 1. 5377 (West Side) Long Melford Bells House and Village Stores (formerly listed as House and shop opposite and north-west of Young's Garage) TL 8645 21/517 10.1.53. II GV
2. A C17 timber-framed house now largely faced in red brick. The south part is faced in modern brick and the north part is faced in C18 red brick with blue brick headers and a raised brick band extends across the north part of the front. 2:4 window range, the windows in the south part are double-hung sashes, in plain reveals and in the north part C20 casements. The ground storey has a small C19 shop front with segmental arched lights. Roof tiled, hipped. A wing extends to the west at the north end.
