(Formerly listed as Corner Cottage)
II
Former farmhouse. C15 or early C16 core, raised and enlarged early C17;
renovated c.1980 with extensions to north. Timber framed and plastered,
pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3 cell plan. Various casement windows,
mostly C19; some good original mullion windows to first floor. Probably
originally cross passage entry, the doorway now in modern extension. Internal
stack. Interior with some good exposed timbering, especially on first floor;
the medieval frame has small traces of smoke-blackening.
