Former rectory, now private residence. Early-mid C18. Red brick, hipped
plaintiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. Main facade to south: 5 windows,
sashes with glazing bars in flush frames, slightly cambered brick arches;
central doorway: early C19 enclosed flat-roofed wooden porch with pilasters
and entablature, 6-panel door and semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars;
wooden paired modillion eaves cornice; 3 shallow-pedimented dormers. 6
windows to garden (east) front with a 3-light curved ground floor bay: windows
as main facade; doorway with pilasters, frieze, triangular pediment and inset
double doors with panelled reveals. Good staircase with 2 slender turned
balusters per tread; the 2 main ground floor rooms have good carved marble
mantlepieces and moulded cornices.
